Over 30 years ago, I tasted what I thought was the best barbecue sauce ever. The person who made it gave me his recipe and it included bourbon. I lost it before I could make the sauce and the man died. Now his children want the recipe and it is no longer available. I tell you this so that you will understand why I am so in love with the Barrel Select. It taste almost exactly like that old recipe. I want to know how I can have a case of it shipped to my home. It is simply awesome! ~Mary

My wife and I just went to St. Augustin, Fl this past weekend, and we went in a shop in downtown, and I noticed that they was selling ya'll bbq sauces. Im the type of guy that like a good bbq sauce, so I asked the lady behind the counter if I can sample some of pappy's white lightin. When I tasted it, I was like WOW!! I used Bourbon Q glaze for my fourth of july chicken. It was an enormous hit! The grilling released the flavors and the sauce stayed delicious and succulent. Everyone ate the chicken first! ~Jaime

I picked up a bottle of Pappy's Hottest Ride in Town at Berea last year and have truly enjoyed every drop of it!! And in so many ways - sometimes, when I want the paint taken of my throat, I'll use it as a straight-up dip, other times I'll mix it up with some honey and mustard (yum, buddy), and, of course, all the other dangerous ways of experimenting with this contraption of a sauce. Couldn't catch my breath between what I guess were some queer hick-ups of some sort ! But if it floats yer boat!! I like the addition of honey and mustard HMMMMM Could be another batch in the making.
Visited Kentucky a few weeks with my brother. One of the items he insisted on getting was the Pappy's xxx white lightnin barb. sauce. We bought about 8 bottles to bring back home...That;s all we could find at the time. My son loves it, wants me to go back and get more!!! My brother loves it, his friends love it... We have to get more for some folks up here in Buffalo, NY!! ~Debi
